A Community Partnership to End Youth Homelessness in Lincoln County
|
Homeless youth need youth-specific interventions offered in a safe setting—away from the hazards of street life or couch-hopping. Age-appropriate shelter and supportive services provide the foundation for addressing homeless youth’s larger life-shaping issues.
THE KEY will provide safe shelter in Troy, Missouri, and support services for up to 14 youth, seven male and seven female on separate floors, who are at-risk of, or meet the criteria for, homelessness as defined by the McKinney-Vento Act.
THE KEY serves to help youth achieve their personal goals and make a positive transition into young adulthood.
