The privacy and safety of our youth center residents and advisors are of utmost importance to us. Therefore, visits to our youth center in Troy are restricted to serious inquiries and are by appointment only.
If you are under 21 and are in need of safe shelter, please email The Key at thekeyyouthinc@gmail.com. Because The Key offers long-term shelter with wrap-around services for qualified residents, potential residents must subscribe to an intake and assessment process to confirm eligibility. We will respond to emails, however, please keep in mind this is a process and applicants are served based on a needs assessment and availability.
If you are in immediate need of shelter, please call 211 or Youth In Need’s 24-hour hotline 636-946-3771 to cover short-term housing needs during this processing period.
For the safety of our residents and integrity of our mission, The Key will work as quickly as possible to address queries from potential residents.
